• Bio diesel can heat your home.Did you know bio diesel could actually be used as home heating oil? However, be sure to check with the experts before you start filling up your tank—using an improper bio diesel blend may cause filter clogging or wear out the gaskets or rubber seals on your home oil heating system.
• Bio diesel can help clean up oil spills. It has been found effective to increase the efficiency of cleaning up crude oil from both sand and water.
• Bio diesel can clean up your tools. 100% bio diesel (B100) is very efficient at de-greasing and cleaning tools. Fill up a bucket, drop your wrench in, and see what happens (but make sure to experiment with some of your less-expensive tools first).
• Bio diesel can remove stubborn adhesive and paint. Try using bio diesel instead of toxic paint remover, or use it to get rid of the stickiness left behind from duct tape.
• Bio diesel can lubricate your bicycle chains. It makes for a great lubricant when your chain starts to get squeaky.
