Sometimes it seems like your home heating bill might as well just say “One Arm and One Leg” or “Your First Born Child” on the “Amount Due” line. But there’s a great way to find out if your oil company might be taking advantage of you, or if the home oil or propane prices you’re paying are on the average.

Charts comparing home oil and propane prices are updated weekly during the heating season (October through March).
