The U.S. Energy Information Association (EIA) has created a tool that allows you to track gasoline and heating oil prices across the country. If you follow this link (click here), you can see how much gasoline and heating oil prices increased or decreased during the past week and how those prices compare to the same time last year.
You can also view weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly reports on petroleum, gas, kerosene, and heating oil prices here.
The EIA website also allows you to plan ahead for the coming months with thorough reports on both short and long-term projections of energy usage (click here to view website).
